"The Storyteller"  has sat in storage since the day we acquired it from Willitts Designs.   It is in perfect condition and and includes all the original packaging and any original accompanying certificates.  We even have the original outside box (see photos).  When the Storyteller was first issued, the staff with the bird was attached to the piece; however they had all kinds of breakage problems.  I probably sent back every piece I received and, as a result, they reconstructed the majority of the figurines so that staff was included as a second piece...that way it could be assembled by the final owner and, thus eliminated the breakage problem.  I even have the original assembly instructions (see photos).  The staff for this piece has never been attached.  The piece has never been on display.   Remember....this is an artist signed Artist Proof you are buying! It is the most sought after figurine in the entire Ebony Visions Collection.

This figurine is in new condition.  It has only been out of the box for inspections and photographs.  Please note, the original issue price of the First Edition was $410.00; however all Artist Proofs and Gallery Proofs were priced 30% higher than 1st editions.  This figurine is  Artist Proof #37/50 and is hand signed (see photo) by Thomas Blackshear.
